For some time I have felt I should begin writing my thoughts for my posterity. I am entitling it “This I Know.” Not that everything I will write about is under that umbrella as there is much I don’t know, but as I am on the downhill slope of life (almost 58 which is either still young or approaching geriatrics depending on your perspective) and I can see that the end will eventually be in site, and the time will go quicker than I had ever supposed. With age there are truths that have become clearer and more sure. Life doesn’t look so nebulous from this point. Some of the chaff has fallen away more or less and though I don’t always spend my precious allotment of time in a way that reflects what I know I am trying to get better at doing so. I‘m not sure how much editing I will do along the way, probably not a lot as I want to focus on getting my thoughts out, so please forgive the mishaps.
